PLEDGE SUNDAY 27 MAY - The presentation for the Refurbishment Appeal will take place at the
end of all Masses next Sunday (Pentecost Sunday). This will last for approximately five minutes.
The Appeal Literature (in named envelopes) will be distributed immediately after this from pick-up
points around the church. You are asked to make every effort to attend, and not to leave early. The
expenses of the recent mailing of invitations to this event were met by a generous donation from a
parishioner.
ST. JOHN'S REFURBISHMENT EVENTS - To help fund the future stages of the refurbishment of our
Church here in Horsham we were hoping to host a series of events that would not only help with
raising funds but also bring our community together, help us to get to know our neighbour that bit
better and just plain have fun. The following are some ideas for things that we could do, but as with
all things, a little help is needed and very graciously received. If you have any ideas for how we can
do this or are willing to be a part of any of the events below please contact Katherine on

WIMBLEDON PARTY - A couple of years ago our Church had a party in the Hall, watching the Men's
Singles Final and enjoying a glass (or two) of Pimms and typical Wimbledon treats such as
strawberries, scones and the like. So, if you can, please do come and watch Andy Murray
(hopefully!) win the Grand Slam this summer on Sunday 8th July.
