our history
St John's has stood at the heart of Horsham since our foundation in 1865, when the parish was first established on Springfield Road. The present church building dates from the 1930s, replacing the original, which stood on the opposite side of the road.
For over 150 years, our parish has grown alongside the town it serves. Today, we remain committed to being a visible, welcoming presence in the centre of a growing community.
