MASS OF WELCOME AND WELCOME PARTY FOR FR TRISTAN
On Friday 27th September, we’ll be ‘officially’ celebrating Fr Tristan’s arrival as our new Parish Priest. Please join us for a Mass of Welcome at 6:30pm, followed by a Party in the Hall from 7:30pm. We hope to see as many of you there as possible! Please bring a dish to share, savoury or sweet. We’d love the food you bring to be representative of the various cultural communities that make up our wonderful parish family! Drinks will be provided. Let’s give Fr Tristan a welcome to remember! We’ll also raise a toast to him, to celebrate the landmark of his 40th birthday the day before! Lots to celebrate!!
(Please note the party takes place on a Friday, usually a day of penance - so those who are kindly bringing foods to share that contain meat might note that some will be observing the custom in England to abstain from meat on this day; others may like to choose a different penance! For all contributors, it may be useful to label your foods to help inform those who have allergies. Thank you!)
