A Harvest of Generosity
Our parish raises £995.26 for CAFOD's Harvest Family Fast Day
Thank you to everyone in our parish who took part in CAFOD's Harvest Family Fast Day on Friday 2nd October. So far, offertory collections and card machine donations have raised £995.26.
Parishioners were asked to go without one meal on the day and give the money they saved, along with any other donations, to CAFOD. Envelopes were put out on the benches and at the back of the church from Monday 28th September and handed in at the second collection at Masses on the weekend of 3rd–4th October. Others gave online using the QR code or the church payment terminal.
Your generosity makes a real difference.
86% of CAFOD's funds come from its two Family Fast Day appeals each year, so every gift helps support vulnerable people around the world.
If you didn't get a chance to give, it's not too late. You can still donate at cafod.org.uk
Many thanks for your kindness and support.
