Parishioners raised over £2533.85 for St Johns school

Exciting news,  the new classroom building for St John's School is well underway! The final finishing works are now being carried out, and it won't be long before it's fully up and running.


This wouldn't have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of our parish and parents. Together, we raised a truly staggering £2,533.85, a figure that has turned this project from hope into reality.


Head, Mrs Farr said
"It has been humbling to watch our community come together so quickly and so wholeheartedly to make this happen. I feel so blessed to be part of a parish this generous in spirit.

SILENT PRAYER

“Silent prayer, a relationship of intimate friendship with God, is the basis for every Christian life.” Fr Marie Eugène of the Child Jesus We gather and follow a gentle rhythm and format: arriving in the hall, upstairs, for refreshments, followed by a short reflection on Silent Prayer in the context of Carmelite Saints. We then move into the church for a time of Silent Prayer. Sessions start at 3.30pm and end around 5pm. We meet on the first Saturday of every month with a break in August. Whether you are new to silent prayer or have been walking this path for some time, you are most welcome to join us.
