Dear Friends,
Thanksgiving – I would like to thank on behalf of the parish, Phil Bleasdale, who has passed on the baton as President of the Horsham SVP to Marie Campbell. I would like to thank Phil for all her hard work as President. These have been very challenging but fruitful times when so many of those who are in need have been wonderfully looked after and supported by Phil and the Horsham SVP team. I would also like to thank Ann Hanley, who steps, down as secretary. Our prayers continue for those involved in this valuable organisation that seeks to bring the love of Christ to our brothers and sisters in need.
Seminary - We bid Gary Carter well as he leaves us to go back to seminary. It has been a great pleasure hosting him here in Horsham. As you know, Wonersh is closing and the students are moving to Allen Hall Seminary, Chelsea to continue their studies. Our prayers go with them in this new phase of formation.
Welcome – Fr Alban returns to us next weekend to assist us whilst I am away in Birmingham for an investiture ceremony for the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. It is great to see him again, make him feel welcome.
Liturgy Changes – as from May 17th, the advice from the Bishops Conference and in consultation with Public Health England and the HM Government Task Force, is that we can now respond ‘Amen’ when the priest offers the Body of Christ. So from now on we can respond individually ‘Amen’ when we receive the Blessed Sacrament. Holy Communion is permitted both in hand or on the tongue.
Weekday Mass – on Monday Mass will be at 10am this week and at 9am on Wednesday.
First Communion Preparations – There will be a compulsory session for parents only on Monday 28th June at 7pm in the church.

Krystyna Maria Deszberg RIP – We pray for Krystyna’s husband John, her twin sister Maria, and the rest of her family and friend’s who mourn at this time.
May they rest in peace and rise in glory.
