MARY’S MEALS - We are very grateful to everyone who has supported this much-loved project over the past 17 years. However, the context we have been working in since the beginning of the pandemic is very different to when The Backpack Project began ,with greater logistical complexities and costs to bear that are unsustainable for our charity. Trish would like to thank all who have supported the backpack appeal over the years. We have 190 backpacks waiting to be collected, 100 from preCOVID and 90 packed on Sunday.These will be the last we send. If you would like to support the feeding programme which feeds over 2 million children each school day in a place of education, it only costs £15.95 to feed a child for a year, donations can be made through the website www.marysmeal.org.
